About Wim van Acker

Wim van Acker is partner with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a management consultancy firm with 34 offices in 24 countries. He holds office in Detroit and Chicago. He has been a director of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants since 1996 and has supported clients in the automotive, steel, engineered products and transportation industries, plus the integrated logistics sector. He has helped clients develop business and product strategies, improve their operational results and restructure. Prior to his North American assignment, van Acker was responsible for the company’s Latin America operations. During his 16 years of consulting experience in Europe, North America and Latin America, he has focused his practice on the automotive industry, engineered products, process industries and transportation. Van Acker holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
