About Edward Carpenter

Ed Carpenter is vice president of the Asia Pacific region for TRW Automotive. He was named to this position in October of 2005. Carpenter most recently served as vice president of global purchasing for TRW Automotive, and also served as head of North American automotive purchasing and vice president, global purchasing for TRW Occupant Safety Systems. Based at the Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China, Carpenter oversees the operations of more than 25 plants in the region. He directs the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans and works to enhance strategic relationships with customers and joint venture partners in the region.
