About Daniel P. Malone
Mr. Malone has traveled extensively to Korea, Japan and China in the representation of Butzel Long clients.
He coordinates the Firm’s overall efforts to serve Korean clients doing business in Michigan and in China as well as American-based clients and prospects doing business in South Korea.
For more than twenty-seven years, Mr. Malone has focused his practice on civil litigation, particularly product liability, and automotive government compliance. For several years, he served as the National Coordinating Counsel to Bridgestone/Firestone and helped strategize, coordinate, and lead Firestone’s overall defense efforts in the Ford Explorer/Firestone Wilderness AT controversy. Mr. Malone has considerable experience defending other automotive component manufacturers in product liability actions as well.
