Termination of Argentine-Spain Double Taxation Treaty

On July 13, 2012, a note signed by the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs) was published in the Official Gazette announcing the termination of the Argentine-Spain Tax Treaty for the Avoidance of Double Taxation.

The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs notified the termination of the Tax Treaty on June 29, 2012.

Under section 29 of the Tax Treaty, its provisions would cease to apply as from January 1, 2013
