Enabling Human Performance in China

Systemic human resources management challenges remain in China.

High-performance businesses that rise to meet them will be well placed to secure and retain the best talent. Businesses in China face particular difficulties in maximizing the effectiveness of their human capital: a unique culture and emerging business environment, and a fluid market situation for both products and people, especially shortages of skilled labor and expertise in a number of key areas.

By addressing cultural and human capital challenges through a focus on targeted training and development, effective cross-cultural interlocutors—especially at a senior level, and reciprocal loyalty with employees, forward-thinking organizations can grow with China, attracting, training and retaining the best staff.
